Adventure parks
In Ariège, the mountain terrain offers limitless opportunities to create parks in which young people can get their thrills jumping and climbing, sliding and scrambling on monkey bridges, in trees and over swaying walkways; climbing specially-equipped rock-faces ("via ferrata"), or whizzing along zip wires. These parks are run by professionals who ensure kids are properly secured with ropes and carefully monitored. At some times in the year you must reserve in advance and constitute a group of at least 5 persons.
